Community Engagement Meetings
We will be holding two sessions during which the Event Organisers and representatives from Leeds City Council will provide an overview of the upcoming event, and will be on hand to answer your questions.
The details for these sessions are as follows:

Dear Roundhay Park Residents,
AMERICAN EXPRESS PRESENTS ROUNDHAY FESTIVAL IS COMING TO ROUNDHAY PARK THIS SUMMER!
Leeds City Council is delighted to announce the arrival of a brand new series of world-class ticketed music events.
American Express presents Roundhay Festival 2026 will be held in the iconic Roundhay Park to bring a fresh, live music experience to Leeds that continues the rich tradition of music within this beautiful location. The event is promoted by global entertainment specialists, AEG Presents. AEG’s portfolio includes the award winning festivals American Express presents BST Hyde Park and All Points East in London’s Victoria Park.
Roundhay Festival will take place over the first weekend of July 2026 and feature multiple stages hosting world-class headliners and breakthrough acts, offering an electrifying programme for music fans of all genres. Whether you’re discovering new artists or seeing your favourite acts live for the first time, the park will come alive in a truly unforgettable atmosphere.

Roundhay Festival is committed to operating responsibly and event organisers are working to maximise the ways in which the event makes a positive impact, whilst reducing its negative impacts on the environment and community. Their work will be externally assessed to ensure they remain true to this mission and continually strive for improvements.

Resident Ticket Ballot and Parking Passes
Applications open from Friday 22 May!
We are incredibly excited to announce the resident ticket offer for Roundhay Festival.
For those residents living closest to the park:
- 2 free tickets to a show of your choice, plus
- Ballot entry for 2 discounted tickets at £20 each
Available for the wider Roundhay Park community:
- Ballot entry for 2 discounted tickets at £20 each
All ticket requests will be able to select their preference of show. All residents’ eligible for ballot or free ticket offers, will be able to apply for two free tickets to All Things Orchestral (Sunday 5 July).

Applications for resident’s tickets will open on Friday 22 May, to apply head to http://leeds.gov.uk/RoundhayFestivalTickets
Online applications must be submitted by 17:00 on Friday 05 June.
RF26 – Local resident ticket draw T&Cs
- This ticket draw is available to residents within the vicinity of the American Express presents Roundhay Festival, specifically anyone with a permanent address within the Borough of Roundhay.
- Resident tickets will be issued by AEG Presents Ltd (AEG) but the ticket draw shall be managed by Leeds City Council.
- Applications must be submitted by online webform, located via http://leeds.gov.uk/RoundhayFestivalTickets
Paper applications or email requests will not be accepted. - A maximum of one pair of tickets per ‘category’ is available per household. A maximum of one application per ‘category’ will be accepted per household. No duplicate entries will be accepted. Each ‘category’ is as defined by AEG and Leeds City Council and may be amended from time to time.
- The ballot will open on Thursday 22 May 2026 and close at 5pm on Friday 5 June 2026. Tickets will be awarded by random draw from all complete and valid entries received during this period. Successful applicants will be notified by Friday 12 June 2026. Unsuccessful applicants will not be contacted.
- It is anticipated that a large number of residents will apply to the ticket draw and therefore we are unable to correspond on the ticket draw by telephone or email.
- You must give the name, address and email address of one of the people who will be attending American Express presents Roundhay Festival. Names, addresses and email addresses must be correct and cannot be changed after your ticket draw entry has been submitted. The reasoning for this requirement is because tickets are non-transferable and may only be used by the individual (and their guests, as applicable) named in the original application.
- Winners will receive a notification email from AXS (AEG’s ticketing company) by Friday 12 June 2026.
- Tickets for American Express presents Roundhay Festival are digital, delivered via AXS Mobile ID, and can be accessed through the American Express presents Roundhay Festival app. Therefore winners will need to download the official American Express presents Roundhay Festival app to access their tickets, using the same email address as used to enter the ticket draw.
- AXS Mobile ID will be the only customer admission method for events at American Express presents Roundhay Festival.

- The personal data you provide will be shared with AEG Presents, who will process it for the purposes of ticket fulfilment and event administration. - To gain entry to the festival site, winners must show their tickets (which are valid for the applicable day stated on the ticket) via the American Express presents Roundhay Festival app and bring proof-of-address. Acceptable proof of address includes valid driving license, utility bills, which must match the address submitted in the ticket draw application
- Once tickets have been allocated, we are unable to exchange the tickets for any other American Express presents Roundhay Festival Day.
- Winners will be ineligible from entering any other Leeds City Council or American Express presents Roundhay Festival 2026 draw or competition.
- The ticket draw is subject to the American Express presents Roundhay Festival, or specific days of the American Express presents Roundhay Festival, not being affected by cancellation, postponement, or material alteration. AEG reserves the right to cancel or reschedule tickets without liability.
- No child under the age of 16 will be admitted to the American Express presents Roundhay Festival unless they are accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or over (each with a valid ticket) at all times. Proof of age may be requested upon entry.
- Entry into the festival and use of all tickets will be subject to the festival terms and conditions available here.
- AEG and Leeds City Council reserve the right to verify eligibility and to reject or withdraw applications where these terms have not been complied with.
VEHICLE PASSES
To support resident’s access, vehicle passes will be provided for those living within the immediate event area. These passes will support access in and out of road closures (when safe to do so).
Vehicle passes are flexible, and can be passed between vehicles - they are not vehicle specific.
Residents can apply for two permits per household, with additional requests reviewed on an individual basis.
Resident Vehicle Passes will be issued and managed by Leeds City Council.

FAQs
In order to facilitate the safe and speedy movement of festival-goers, closures on some roads adjacent to Roundhay Park will be in place during certain hours on event days.
The following roads will be closed to support the safe management of the event. Times are indicated, but may vary due to operational requirements.
Where possible, pathways will remain open during the build and break, however, to ensure work can take place in a safe environment some restrictions will be in place.
New Walk will remain open until the end of Friday 26 June.
American Express presents Roundhay Festival works with a specialist Noise Consultants who will monitor noise levels throughout the duration of the live event.
Sound systems will be tested on Thursday 2 July, in addition to this there will be brief periods of testing on the morning of the event days.
